2010 NCAA HEAD SPECIFICATIONS
Description
At the USLacrosse Coaches’ Convention in Baltimore, Warrior exhibited a prototype head made exactly to the proposed new NCAA specifications. The new specifications are outlined in detail in the attachments.
The new specification comes into force on 1st January, 2010 for all games played under NCAA Rules. At this time there is no announced change to the NFHSA Rules governing High School Lacrosse in the US.
Warrior’s prototype head clearly demonstrated how the new rules, if implemented exactly, would actually permit a much tighter designed head, more closely resembling a box lacrosse head! Needless to say it provoked a great deal of discussion and comment.
